We’re working with top distributor that’s a leader in their industry in search of a talented Transportation Manager with final mile experience. This is a company with a reputation for having a solid culture.

This individual will be responsible a team of 10 supervisors, 80 company drivers, and have oversight of 6 smaller domicile locations.

Responsibilities:

– Plans, directs, and oversees all transportation functions
– Train and coach supervisors
– Develop relationships with drivers and customers
– Oversees weekly, monthly and yearly P&L statements
– Ensures on-time delivery of products and services
– Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience in the logistics field (3-5 years)
– Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, transportation management and logistics solutions with a broad knowledge of DOT rules and regulations

Skills/Abilities:

– Exceptional communication skills
– Excellent leadership abilities
