We’re working with a national trucking company that’s well known and stable in search of a higher caliber Transportation Manager in North Carolina. This individual will oversee a large operation with great growth potential and ability to put your stamp on things.

This candidate will have 4 direct reports and nearly 100 company drivers. OTR or dedicated experience will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

– Plans, directs, and oversees all transportation functions for the terminal
– Monitor KPI metrics and analyze operational variables and implement solutions that positively impact the terminals performance
– Oversees weekly, monthly and yearly P&L statements
– Ensures on-time delivery of products and services
– Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience in the logistics field (3-5 years)
– Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, transportation management and logistics solutions with a broad knowledge of DOT rules and regulations

– Exceptional communication skills
– Excellent leadership abilities
