We’re working with a national leader in the transportation space in search of a high-caliber Terminal Manager for one of their largest facilities in Minneapolis. This is a unique and challenging operation so the search is for a higher level transportation leader. There is opportunity for upward mobility and advancement.

This individual will be responsible for a fleet of 70-100 drivers (company, contracted, owner operators), 2 Operations Managers, a safety team, several dispatchers and customer service employees.

Ideally looking for someone local but our client can relocate the right candidate to the area.

Responsibilities:

– Plans, directs, and oversees all transportation functions for the terminal
– Developing great relationships with the drivers, leaders, and customers
– Monitor KPI metrics and analyze operational variables and implement solutions that positively impact performance
– Oversees weekly, monthly and yearly P&L statements
– Ensures on-time delivery of products and services
– Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience in the logistics field (3-5 years)
– Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, transportation management and logistics solutions with a broad knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
