We’re working with a large dedicated transportation organization in search of a high caliber senior transportation leader near Wichita, KS. This individual will report into a Regional Director and will eventually be the #1 of the facility. Candidates need to have experience managing large fleets of companies drivers ideally in retail, wholesale, or food distribution industries.

Responsibilities:

– Plans, directs, and oversees all transportation functions of the the client and operation
– Developing great relationships with the drivers, supervisors, and the client
– Monitor KPI metrics and analyze operational variables and implement solutions that positively impact account performance
– Ensures on-time delivery of products and services
– Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience in the logistics field (5-10 years)
– Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, transportation management and logistics solutions with a broad knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
