Tom’s recruiting career began in Wisconsin with the world’s largest contingency search firm organization. His decision was in part due to the professional guidance he received upon college graduation by an east coast headhunter who placed him with J&J in pharma sales, and 5 years later attaining a better role in surgical medical sales by another recruiter. Since 2002, Tom has built upon that foundation as a cornerstone of iRiS Recruiting in Carmel, Indiana. His depth and scope of manufacturing and sales combined with a knack for building trust and rapport with everyone he meets has proved to be an indispensable resource for the entire iRiS staff.
Among his accomplishments, Tom is a 10 time Presidents club award winner, and has billed over 4.5 million dollars. The Wall Street Journal highlighted Tom’s success in compressing the interview process for a client to land a rare technical talent. Tom’s “no furlough yet thorough” Thurlow “PPF”” approach in assessing talent has afforded him an unmatched ability to increase the enjoyment and long term tenure of impact players.
