While in college at Purdue University, Ethan Hochstetler developed an interest in real estate and the construction industry, in part due to the part-time and seasonal job he held at the local Ace Hardware Store throughout his college career.  Then, during his senior year at Purdue, Ethan landed an internship with a large multi-family housing company where he learned about leasing, property management, construction, and maintenance.  This is when Ethan knew he wanted to launch his career into some field related to construction and real estate.  He has found it with iRiS Construction Recruiting!

Ethan is a key member of iRiS Construction’s Traveling Superintendent division where he focuses on finding “top 20% talent” for progressive companies looking to grow and enhance their on-site, Traveling Superintendent staff.   Ethan understands the goals, problems and needs that many General Contractors & Developers face trying recruit top-notch travelers for key projects.  He also understands the career motivators that are unique to travelers, which allows iRiS to make “right fit matches”.  Ethan and his iRiS teammates understand the talent marketplace as well as anyone and we have built relationships and networks with great companies and candidates from coast to coast for the past 20+ years.

When Ethan was choosing a major at Purdue and then determining his career path, he knew he had the skills and passion for creating opportunities for others,  and that’s what he does as well as anyone.  His “no matter what, you will succeed” approach to work and life drives him to be at his best for his clients and candidates.
