Regional VP of Transportation
Position: Regional VP of Transportation
Location: Midwest
Travel: Up to 50%
Description:
Our client is a well known, respected, and growing 3PL/Transportation organization. They’re looking to bring on an experienced VP of Transportation to head up a large budget of dedicated accounts and drivers. Candidates that are hands-on leaders will be highly preferred. Responsibilities:
– Oversee all operations of the region
– Train and develop Managers and Directors
– Drive KPI performance and cost-reduction strategies
– Foster a safety first culture
– Build and foster relationships with customers
Must Haves:
– 10+ years of transportation/logistics experience; 3+ years in a multi site director or VP role
– Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
– Has overseen budgets of $75M+
– Strategic thinker and can execute on high level company initiatives

– Excellent communication and leadership skills
– Systems savvy
– Excellent problem solving skills
– Ability to inspire and develop future leaders
– Strong customer service skills
