We’re working with a well known and respected transportation organization in search of a high-caliber Regional Transportation Manager. This individual will oversee a large and growing dedicated account across multiple regions. Large single site or multi site experience over a sizable fleet of dedicated drivers (100+) will be preferred. Candidates with flat bed, heavy, specialty, or car hauling experience will have the upper hand.

Responsibilities:

– Oversee all operations of the region
– Train and develop Supervisors and Managers
– Drive KPI performance and cost-reduction strategies
– Foster a safety first culture
– Build and foster relationships with the customer

MUST Haves:

– Bachelor’s degree preferred
– Full P&L and budget responsibilities
– Attitude, initiative, and ownership
– Strategic thinker and can execute on high level company initiatives

Skills/Abilities:

– Excellent communication and leadership skills
– Systems savvy
– Excellent problem solving skills
– Ability to inspire and develop future leaders
– Strong customer service skills
