Job Title: Perishables Manager

Location: Blair, NE

Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000

About the Role:

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Perishables Manager at a brand new distribution center in Blair, NE.

This is a great opportunity to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on operations, with opportunities for advancement.

As a Perishables Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the perishables department, including:

• Managing and motivating a team of salaried and hourly employees

• Ensuring the timely and efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of perishable goods

• Maintaining strict quality control standards

• Developing and implementing perishables procedures and policies

• Working with vendors to ensure product availability and quality

• Conducting inventory audits and investigations

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a distribution center environment

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing salaried reports

• Strong understanding of perishable product handling and storage requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Open and flexible on shift
