Candidates that come from wholesale, 3PL, manufacturing, production, parts, or retail distribution will have the upper hand. This individual will be the #1 of the distribution center of a stable and growing organization.

Responsibilities:

– Plans, directs, and oversees all warehouse/operational functions
– Developing great relationships with salaried leaders and hourly associates
– Monitor KPI metrics and analyze operational variables and implement solutions that positively impact performance
– Ensures on-time delivery of products and services
– Ensures warehouse operations meet or exceed safety and regulatory standards

Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience in the logistics field (7-10 years)
– Exceptional communication skills
– Strong financial acumen for planning and scheduling
– HAZMAT certified or able to be certified
– Knowledge of lean tool utilization
– Confident decision maker
