Position: DC General Manager

Location: Waterloo, IA

Salary: Very Competitive Base + Bonus

Description:

We’re working with one of the largest Supply Chain organizations in the U.S. in search of a high-caliber warehouse leader. This individual will be the #1 of a high performing distribution operation leading a team of 20+ salaried leaders and 300 hourly associates. Ideal candidates will come from a 3PL or customer facing distribution background.

If you’re a proven leader of large teams that’s skilled with technology, apply! Our client will consider candidates that are open to relocation closer to the area and will assist in that transition.

Responsibilities:

– Leading all aspects of warehousing, customer service and workforce management
– Training and developing exempt leaders
– Manage P&L statements
– Drive cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
– Build and foster relationships with customer(s)

MUST Haves:

– 5+ years of warehouse and distribution experience; 5+ years experience in management; 2+ years as a General Manager
– Track record of high performance in a high volume distribution environment; 3PL experience preferred
– 2+ years’ experience managing the full P&L
– Has managed teams of 100+
