  Our client is a top three U.S. supply chain organization in their space. With roots dating back over 100 years our client is still one of the fastest growing supply chain companies in the world. This organization places a premium on strong leaders, technology and customer service.
  
  We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our client's transportation solutions to an existing book of business as well as add on additional accounts. Through success of growing this business there will be greater responsibilities and promotions.
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  - Leverage your business acumen, industry knowledge and industry connections to build brand awareness
  - Lead and develop complex sales cycles
  - Understand each customer's unique supply chain and match services to their specific needs
  - Provide data for pricing proposals and competitive insights
  - Understand the local market to better recommend services
  - Manage existing business and garner new business
  
  Requirements:
  
  - Bachelor's Degree
  - 7-10 years of supply chain experience with at least 3 of those being in a transportation sales/biz dev role
  - Ability to lead existing and new clients through the sales cycle
  - Knowledge of drayage and transportation brokerage solutions
  - Comfortable laying out proposals and making presentations to high level leaders
  - Knowledge of refrigerated solutions a plus
