The Industrial Engineer role allows you to use your technical skills in a warehouse, cross dock, packaging, transportation and omnichannel fulfillment environment. You will be involved with all facets of the business and work on multiple projects at a time.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct time studies, business profile analysis and other tasks in order to understand the business from all angles
- Ensure cost cutting measures are strategic and effective for the business, associates, and our customers
- Optimize layout and design of the warehouse
- Perform special projects as needed and assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD LT
- Be familiar with various WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Minimum of four years experience supporting and implementing logistics processes
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of and skilled in blueprint and schematic reading.
- Strong problem solving skills
