  Description:
  
  We're working with a well known and growing food/beverage/grocery distributor. They're looking to bring on an experienced Transportation Manager to lead this department. With the company growth initiatives, this position will offer room for advancement and upward mobility!
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  - Plans, directs, and oversees all transportation functions
  - Manages the performance of both salaried employees and company drivers
  - Strong customer service and account management experience
  - Coordinates closely with customers and area personnel to identify needs and investigate and solve problems
  - Analyze monthly and weekly P&L statements
  - Ensures on-time delivery of products and services
  - Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards
  
  Qualifications:
  
  - Minimum of 3 years’ in transportation management
  - Ability to solve problems in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  
  Skills/Abilities:
  
  - Exceptional communication skills
  - Excellent leadership abilities
  - Strong problem solving skills
