  Position: Transportation Supervisor

  Description:
  
  Come join an industry leading 3PL organization running the transportation efforts for a large automotive company. Our client is looking for a high performing Transportation/Logistics Supervisor to run a private fleet of 30-40 drivers. This position offers a ton of room for upward mobility locally and all across the U.S.
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  - Plans, directs, and oversees all transportation functions
  - Manages the performance of both salaried employees and company drivers
  - Strong customer service and account management experience
  - Coordinates closely with customers and area personnel to identify needs and investigate and solve problems
  - Analyze monthly and weekly P&L statements
  - Ensures on-time delivery of products and services
  - Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards
  
  Qualifications:
  
  - Minimum of 2 years’ in transportation management
  - Prior experience with routing software
  - Ability to solve problems in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  
  Skills/Abilities:
  
  - Exceptional communication skills
  - Excellent leadership abilities
  - Strong problem solving skills
