  Merchandise Manager - Albany, NY
  
  Compensation 55-65K base + bonus and car allowance
  
  Location: Albany, NY
  
  This well-known deli meat manufacturer is looking to fill a Merchandise Manager for the Albany, NY market. This position would be responsible for working directly with the Account Manager, managing and executing needs within Merchandising space. They will manage a team of 5 and be responsible for about 150 stores within the region.
  
  This company is the 2nd largest and fastest growing in their space within food manufacturing. This role is a fast track position for the next level up!
  
  If you possess the qualities above and have the following qualifications below this job is waiting for you.
  
  - Set up floor plans and appropriately rotate perishable product
  - Assemble necessary equipment to use in the setting of displays
  - Place products based on plan-o-gram or utilizing one’s creativity and customization
  - Attract customers to dept by demoing product
  - Complete all reports as necessary including store surveys
  - Make regular store visits documenting all concerns/problems (i.e. shortages, equipment problems, ordering issues, etc.) and addressing these problems as seen fit
  - Build and maintain customer relationships by displaying high-level customer service techniques to deli managers and employees
  - Training of all new store hires on the merits of company and refresh training when needed
  - Communicate any information deemed necessary to Account Manager (i.e. grand openings, store closing, etc.)
  - Explore opportunities for sales growth w/Account Manager
  - Marketing cold calling to obtain new accounts within their territory
  - Maintain full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts
  - Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
  - Perform special projects outside of assigned territory
  - Ability to travel locally 50-60% of the time
