Position: Director of Business Development
Location: Chicago, IL
Salary: $120-150k + 20% bonus
Description:
Our client is an industry leading supply chain company who invests heavily in their people and technology. Our client is looking for a true business development professional to help expand their business. Our client is looking to double in size over the next several years and this role in their organization will have a direct affect on achieving those company goals.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage your business acumen, industry knowledge and industry connections to build brand awareness
- Lead and develop complex sales cycles (12-18 months)
- Understand each customer's unique supply chain and match services to their specific needs
- Own the business development and RFP process
- Exceed sales goals on an annual basis
- Managing existing business and garnering new business
MUST Haves:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 8+ years of sales management experience; preferably in supply chain related fields
- Ability to lead existing and new clients through the sales cycle
- Proven ability to generate leads
- Comfortable laying out proposals and making presentations to top level Executives
- Knowledge of several different supply chain industries (Food, Retail, CPG, etc.)
