    Chassis Specialist


    - Overall examination of chassis for missing/damaged components
    - Fill truck with fuel
    - Take bare chassis to CAT Scales
    - Road test chassis
    - Document the following measurements and information:
        *Measure clear CA/CT and axle spacing
        *Measure wheelbase
        *Clear frame space below deck (identifying and communicating any obstructions such as; battery boxes, fuel/DEF tanks, air tanks, cooler system and cross members)
        *Identify heater line tie in locations
        *Identify hydrostat / Van Air mounting locations
        *Identify fuel draw locations for auxiliary components
        *Measure after frame
        *Verify against provided specifications and layout
        *Additional items listed on current Cab-chassis receiving report
    - Test fit PTO shell for non-standard trucks
    - Test fit FEPTO / REPTO adapters if required
    - Program chassis
        *If known WO#, program to correct speeds
        *If unknown WO#, program to generic model speeds (would need to re-program once speeds are known)
        *Test throttle circuits and programming
        *Save programming file to network
        *Use programming laptop to review error codes on chassis (at check-in or during production)
        *Assist electrical in diagnosing chassis/electrical related issues
    - Keeping chassis programming software up to date
    - Communicate issues to all applicable departments as well as contacting the dealer. Will also work with the Logistics Coordinator to schedule transport needs.
    - Responsible for adding winter additives to fuel
    - Assist in jump starting trucks if needed

    General Requirements:

    - Have or be able to obtain a Class B CDL with tanker endorsement
    - Detail oriented and organized
    - High mechanical aptitude
    - High School diploma or equivalent
    - Computer knowledge including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
    - Excellent communication skills
    - Work independently and as part of the team
    - Work in a fast paced environment
    - Meet deadlines and commitments

    Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
