    Superintendent for General Contractor


    We are working with a General Contractor client who is searching for a Superintendent in Dayton area. They are a full service, self-performing, General Contractor specializing in industries such as: Healthcare, Education, Corporate, Industrial, Data and Technology Centers, Retail and other areas.


    - Manage field operations (Coordinates labor, equipment, subs, drawings and specs) including increasing or decreasing crew sizes as needed
    - Create and manage cost loaded project schedule
    - Give projections for labor and equipment costs and responsible for budget vs. Actual
    - Identify, evaluate, mitigate risk for projects
    - Full knowledge of contract documents to be able to see problems before they arise
    - Ensure subs and vendors adhere to quality standards
    - Manage jobsite cleanliness
    - Assist PM in monthly billing prep
    - Assist PM in estimating change orders and future projects
    - Maintaining EEO logs
    - Communicate openly between projects to share resources
    - Delegate tasks and areas of responsibility to labor foremen and project supers
    - Ensure ongoing maintenance of construction equipment
    - Manage inventory (receiving and ongoing condition of materials)
    - Manage, track and report on schedule to ensure timely project delivery
    - Maintain rolling 3 week look ahead schedule
    - Track production units completed each week
    - Manage punch-list completion and project closeout
    - Maintain safety and quality planning for crews
    - Be actively involved in routing schedule and coordination meetings with project staff for material, equipment, subcontractor and labor needs
    - Maintain accurate timekeeping for crews under responsibility
    - Give daily reports and relay critical information in real time


    - Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or other closely related degree or solid experience
    -Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar role within industry areas listed above
    - Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
    - Profitable project track record
    - Project work in excess of $15M
    - Preconstruction Experience
    - Private and Public project experience
    - Strong work ethic
    - Strong leadership
