After owning her own recruitment and consulting firm specializing in those impossible to fill vacancies, Sarah joined MRI as the Practice Leader dedicated to recruitment and talent acquisition in the Power Generation and Power Distribution Industry.  Sarah’s knowledge and network of contacts in the Power Generation and Engineering Industries, along with her understanding of different types of Power Plants, Power Transmission Equipment and Grid technologies have helped her specialize in this rapidly evolving field.

Sarah’s approach to recruiting has been that of understanding the needs of her clients first and refusing to give up on projects when most other firms have turned the respective assignments down. Sarah grew up as the only child of an Army Officer and German mother, exposing her to many different areas of the United States and Europe.  Sarah spent most of her early childhood in Germany as a bi-lingual Army brat and has lived in New York, Kentucky, Texas, Ohio, and now Indiana.  Sarah completed her Bachelor’s Degree at Purdue University and is completing her MHA at Capella University.

Sarah’s recruitment career began in the early 90’s working for companies in the manufacturing and electrical sector such as Kirby Risk, Siemens and Saint-Gobain Containers.  While working for Saint-Gobain, Sarah became the youngest person in this fortune 500 company to receive her SPHR (Senior Professional of Human Resources) certification when she was only 26yrs old.  She became a trusted member of her corporation’s contract negotiation’s team and was recognized for her outstanding achievements in recruitment and plant safety programs.  Sarah then transitioned into other industries such as healthcare and spent many years acting as a Director and Vice President of Human Resources before venturing out to start her own company focusing on Recruitment and HR services for small to medium sized employers in sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, bi-fuels, oil and large farming equipment.  Sarah later joined the award winning team of MRI Indianapolis North now focusing on her true passion, Power and Electrical generation, transmission, and distribution.
